fairfax: Wells Fargo Closing . . . How Disorganized Can One Company Be - 01/14/11 01:50 AM
Yesterday was the day before closing on a home for my "first time home buyers" and today was the closing date which is not going to be the closing date according to Wells Fargo.  They are not prepared to close because of excuses of all kinds.  3 Days ago, I asked, is there anything else you need from my clients?  They said "no".  Good, right?  Well yesterday, they decided they want to do another appraisal and would like to close 2 weeks from now.  My lovely "first time home buyers" are moving out of their home (which should have been starting … (14 comments)

fairfax: Short Sales Among Family Members . . . what next? - 10/01/07 08:43 AM
I was curious if other agents are experiencing what I am experiencing and that is homeowners approaching me to do a short sale, then asking if their brother, mother, father, sister, etc... can put in an offer because they don't have any intention of losing their home but to reduce their mortgage through family.  One family member trying to save another family member's home.
I have been approached several times about this type of inside "short sale" and I am not comfortable doing this type of sale and have declined to service them in that way.  If other offers come in … (20 comments)
