mars pa: House Hunters and Property Virgins - 09/06/11 03:17 PM
All of us being in real estate, I'm sure there are alot of people that watch House Hunters and Property Virgins and other real estate shows.

Sandra Rinomato is the Star or Property Virgins.
I enjoy watching these shows.  But they lead the outside world to believe that selling real estate is easy as it looks.  Now I think being a Real Estate Agent is the easiest job in the world but it's more involved than the shows let people to believe.  I have seen quite a few new agents come into the business and ALL of them that became a … (0 comments)

mars pa: Smart Phone vs MLS Key - 09/06/11 01:27 PM
For a short time now I have been hearing about the conflict between the Smart Phone vs MLS Key.  I had the MLS Key.First the older brand.

Then about 2 years ago our MLS upgraded to the new ActiveKEY and I had that.

Now last week I went from the Active KEY to the Droid Smart phone

and had to order a faab.

To me it's better than the ActiveKEY.  I dont have to charge it all the time.  I can keep it in my car till I need it.  Now it does need batteries so … (2 comments)

Yummy Dark Chocolate

I'm not into eating chocolate much but I did some research on memory/brain boosters and one of the quickest best ways to get an energy boost in the memory/brain area with in 15-20 minutes is Dark Chocolate.  It's recommended that we eat about 3 ounces 15-20 minutes before studying, taking a test, meeting with people that you need to remember their names and/or situations.  I bought a bulk pack of Hershey's Dark Chocolate and tried it.  It seems to work.  But not for the bad part.  I play Dek Hockey on 4 different leagues. One 3 vs 3 league, … (4 comments)

mars pa: 16 and a Learners Permit in Mars - 09/04/11 06:04 AM
16 and a Learners Permit in Mars is tougher now than it was when I had my Learners Permit.
I have been driving for 23 years now.  Life in the driving world is moving at a faster pace nowadays with more distractions like, cell phones-- texting, emails, wanting to get photo, etc...

--- and other issues like faster drivers, ipods, brighter lights on bill boards and buildings, laptops and on and on.

My step son is very popular with about 1000 contacts in his phone (why, I don't know) and he is very temped to check his phone while driving … (2 comments)

mars pa: King Kong of Listing Agents - 08/25/11 03:16 PM

Every day in the forest the loin gets up hungry,  to survive he has to get out the in the fields and search for his food,  to eat he has to search and stock his prey and run after it to eat-- that is survivle.  the loin does this first thing due to the fact that as the day goes on, it gets hotter and hotter and that takes its toll on the loin.  The gazelle wakes up every day hungry and eats vegetation but has to be aware of the hungry lion.  When he sees the lion he has to … (0 comments)

mars pa: Think and Grow Rich - 08/16/11 03:25 PM
Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill has been credited as the second most successful book in world history.  The only book to be more successful is the Bible.
Thoughts are Things.  There is SO much involvement in the mind, and if you get them all working on the same goals in life,    the is NO WAY you can fail.
The areas of the mind that we all have to get ahold of are:
Desire-- How bad to you want it?Faith-- Do you have 100% faith in yourself?Autosuggestion-- DO you contstanly see yoruself obtaining your goals?Specialized Knowledge-- Do you have the specialized knowledge in … (5 comments)

mars pa: Yoru Morning Routine Dictates Your Success/Failures - 08/15/11 11:20 PM
How are you starting your mornings?  Do you wake up to an annoying alarm clock, reach over hit the snooze button and lay there thinking that you would like to throw that alarm clock out the window? (yet ever if you wanted to you are to tired to do so)  Laying there you hate the thought of getting out of your nice and comfortable bed.  All you want to do is sleep another 2 hours.  The alarm goes off again, you shut it off, grumble under your breath and get up feeling like your ass is filled with weights.  No energy or … (4 comments)

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do.  So throw off the bowlines... Sail away from the safe harbor.  Catch the trade winds in your sails.  Explore. Dream.  Discover
We live but once in the bodies and minds we have.  Make the best of what you have and ALWAYS work/strive to have a better day today than you did yesterday/yesteryear.

mars pa: The Real Estate Ecomony - 08/15/11 03:30 PM
I have been hearing some agents talk about the concern about the economy.  Saying the stock market is down and the USA credit was downgraded from AAA to AA+.
