Christmas in Rochester, New York was a "green" Christmas this year! Someone asked me if I was sad that it would not be a "white" Christmas and I replied that I had plenty of "white" Christmases and to have a "green" one was okay. It would still be Christmas!
Our family has a tradition to attend Church on Christmas eve and then meet for dinner and the opening of the gifts. This year with the grandchildren, we attend a 5 pm Church service that was adapted for the children.

This morning, we awoke to a winter wonderland of white snow covering everything! It was amazingly beautiful! Then to top it off the sun came out and it sparkled and glistened! Merry Christmas everyone! Today has been such a nice day so far! No appointment to go to or phone calls to make! Just hanging out around the house, listening to some great Christmas music and putting wood on the fire in the fireplace! The Christmas Season is placed at the best strategic time of the year that it could possibly be. Everyone is happy, joyful, thankful, sharing, festive, thoughtful, benevolent and many many other characteristics! This all comes at a time of the year when it is cold. snowy, dark and dreary!
