Just a quick note to remind Parker Colorado Home Buyers NOT to do these things before you prepare to buy a home.
Don't make any large purchases. Don't open any new lines of credit or credit cards. Don't go buy furniture before you close the transaction. Don't order or have work done on the property before you own it. You have to sign a document at closing stating that you did not have work done on the property. We went for our home inspection this morning, turned on the water and received gallons and gallons of water pouring from this busted meter and pipe. I was recently in Highlands Ranch, Colorado looking at real estate with a potential investor. When we came upon this little gem of a home listed for sale at $189,000 by the bank. The home was foreclosed a few months ago and the previous owner obviously took out the frustrations they had for the bank on the property. On the other hand it almost looked like the may have actually lived like this to some extent. There was a key code lock on the master bedroom door (which had been kicked in) to keep someone out.Why do people do this? How … (2 comments)
