buyers: So how's the market?

I absolutely love hearing that question! Where ever I am, that is my favorite conversation starter, mainly because the person asking may be an interested party who may have property! And said ask-er is most likely responding to my answer to "what do you do". As a Realtor, I really enjoy getting into conversations about people's homes, lives, dreams and aspirations. Call me crazy but I just love people, even the difficult clients. "So How's the market"? Well, "I know that right now is the best time to buy OR sell Real Estate in Austin Texas". buyers: Relationships and Scripts.

I had a discussion with my partner / Realtor / wife this morning and thought it might a good blog post. She has become quite versed at using scripts when talking to people and making calls. I, on the other hand, am under the impression that given the amount of personal development training I have had over my career scripts, to me, appear salesy and less personal. I agree that you must have a way to "connect" with others or a good format yet most important you have to be filled with a feeling of who that person is and how you may help … (4 comments)
