The City of Excelsior is nestled along the shores of Lake Minnetonka, about 20 minutes west of downtown Minneapolis. It is a fun, family-friendly community and has activities throughout the year to enjoy with your kids! Spend a summer afternoon at The Commons Park and stop in for ice cream at Licks Unlimited or spend the 4th of July enjoying the kids parade, sandsculpture contest and fireworks over Lake Minnetonka.
