With the recent outbreak on Lake Minnetonka near Big Island over the 4th of July, many people are wondering if it still safe to swim in the lake? After doing some research, the Hennepin County Health Department tests and analyzes the water weekly at 31 beaches (here is the interactive map) to make sure it is safe for swimming.
