Good Afternoon,
Just dropping by letting you know that title insurance premiums across the board will be going up …no, not just Franklin Title Agency – Every title insurance company in the state of Michigan.
A brief summary of the changes are listed below:
Rate Manual (residential and commercial under a million):
Basic Rates for Owner’s Policies
 (A) ALTA Owner’s Policies • increase the Minimum Rate by $25.00 
 (B) ALTA Homeowner’s Policy-Eagle Protection • increase the Minimum Rate by $26.50
Basic Rates for Loan Policies
 (A) ALTA Loan Policies • increase the Minimum Rate by $17.50

As customers become more educated in the buying, selling, and refinancing process (which they should be) I've noticed that my potential clients are shopping my rates more and more over my service and products offered.
Now either this is because they are trying to save their customers money in the deal or they are trying to make more on their end... I'm not entirely sure which one it is but, I am going to hope that it is the first theory.
