Where Is It? The State Fair is held at the Fairgrounds (where else?) at 1826 W. McDowell Rd (19th Ave & McDowell Rd) in Phoenix, AZ. There is a $10 charge for parking at the fairgrounds. This fall the city of Phoenix is offering a range of hikes meant to help hikers explore South Mountain with the expertise of a park ranger to guide them.There are six hikes scheduled for the fall season.
