Notice on my MLS Service IAR follows the MLS model bylaws, policies and rules from the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Handbook on Multiple Listing Policy and more particularly the Model Rules and Regulations for an MLS Operated as a Committee of an Association of REALTORS. Any options selected within the MLS policy will be sent to NAR for their review and approval. The final decision of any Rule,Regulation or Policy is decided upon by the IAR Executive Officer, following the general consensus of a committee made up by IAR Officers. Martin Political Involvement Award at the Convention by L. Martin Lee himself. The article mentions Joan's extensive service to the Association in the local, state and national levels. How is your organization managed: 1) Do you have a board fo directors 2) if so, who's on the board - anyone (agents, associate brokers, broker owners) or only broker owners and designated brokers 3) how are decisions made, all members vote or board of directors decide I am on a board committee that is responsible for seeing that the MLS is in compliance with the National and State guidelines. A number of members of one specific MLS have concerns with how the group is functioning and I am trying to address these concerns to the everyone to help the group … (2 comments)
