I have had several websites over the last 8 years,, point 2, and one I built myself on Homestead. All are expensive, take a lot of time and for the most part other than the one I built myself they all look cookie cutter. I was very concerned about the "Ownership of my material" on, and copyright problems.

Guns, Ammo and Dead Animal Heads. Storm Lake, IA has many homes with owners who hunt. Many deer, turkey, pheasant and other critters can be found on walls in this town. It can be problematic when listing a home that is owned by an avid hunter.
I don't show properties with guns out in the open, many Buyers have children with them, some guns are small enough to disappear. I found this site yesterday. WOW, there is a lady on the site - Lesa Snider who is amazing Lesa Elements 9 Tutorial. I have tried to use photoshop to work on my real estate photos for about 3 years now. As an amature photographer here in Storm Lake, IA, I have experienced a lot of frustration and little success and we have so much beauty around. I didn't even know there was a magazine for Elements. I keep hearing that there is a new home buyer tax incentive coming. I can't track down anything online, anyone out there heard anything? Any ideas of where else I can check other than the NAR sites and here? Our area has been doing great but I have a few sellers who would like to wait if there is the possibility of a new incentive especially for those that think they will be selling in the winter.      #Storm Lake Iowa and surrounding areas are seeing a small surge in home buying, we usually see this at this time of year and it is as welcome as a cool breeze on one of our hot humid summer days. I sold 2 properties just last week, one that had been on the market for a while (226 Geneseo) the Metcalf House bed and breakfast and one that had been on the market for only 1 day - 121 Division Street in Alta. Both of these properties sold to buyers from outside our state.

Average income across the nation for home buyers is between $67,700 and $79,500
Average miles between new and old home - all under 15, between 10 and 13 miles. That makes a lot of sense in how we should market.
The medial home price was $185,000 here in the Midwest we are below that at $158,000
