My Husband, son and father in law went to the Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum last week and a fabulous time.  The museum itself is in a 160,000 square foot airplane hanger on the former Lowry Air Force Base.  The museum honors World War I aviators and over a million military men and women who served at Lowry Air Force Base.  The museum has a large collection of aerospace history that spans over 70 years.  There is also a space section of the museum as well that you can see an Apollo XV display, NASA Apollo Training … (2 comments)

I have been doing Mat Pilates for several years but I have been wanting to try the reformer for quite sometime now.  My sister in law, Mandy and I actually got in touch with Parker Pilates through a broker open house that had vendors there.  We have taken 2 duet reformer classes.  2 people with one instructor for about an hour.  This is our instructor Joanie.  She has been an amazing instructor.  The studio is located at Parker and Twenty Mile behind the vitamin cottage.  The studio is very calming and serene.  After 2 private duet classes we are ready for the regular … (1 comments)

A blog entry from our wine blogging website, www.twodivinegirls.ning.com.  Anybody out there up for a great Colorado wine?
here are a few good Colorado reds, I like the Holy Cross Abbey Cab and table red from Canyon City. Also the Plum Creek Merlot is great from Palisade.  We picked up a new wine from St. Augustine Vineyards, White Chick Wine, great bottle for about 10 bucks, located out of boulder and owned by woman.

My son had his 3rd birthday party at White Fence Farm; this is him on the Tractor.  He is a John Deere fanatic, and don't get caught calling a combine a tractor, (is that how you spell it??)  This is a great, great, family restaurant.  Now, hence the word family.  You would not go here for the food.  I took a picture for you just in case you didn't believe me.  I am not a big fan of fried chicken, but I think KFC is better.

For all you locals around zip code 80016, just wanted to let you know about one of my favorite local Italian restaurants.  Armando's.  Well all the dishes are fab, I love the ciopinno (a seafood like stew in a tomato base), served up with a side of garlic bread.  My husband usually goes for the heavier dishes like chicken breast stiffed with cheese, garlic and spinach in a cream sauce, yum.  Oh and their garlic knots are to die for.  Skip the soup and salad, not that great and the main portions are huge so you do not need them.  Grab … (2 comments)

To all my fellow neighbors if you don't know I will tell you a smoking deal on Movie Tickets.  If you go between the hours of 4 and 6 to a movie at Southlands Shopping center in Aurora, CO, 80016. you will get your movie tickets for $5.50 and kids under 2 are free.  Since we are all trying to do the little things to save an extra a buck or two I thought some of my fellow greenfield residents would appreciate this if you didn't know.

Here are are a few blogs my sister in law and I posted on our wine blog event: www.twodvinegirls.ning.com on a local event here in the Denver Metro area.
I wanted so much to have nice things to say about an event in a great little town. The wine makers were great, pouring all day in the heat, trying in earnest to keep the wine from getting too warm. They answered like pros and I have so much more knowledge of Colorado wines. BUT there was no relief from the scorching 96* heat - and people were wilting like dry plants. … (3 comments)

So my son and I went to a next door neighbors birthday party, he was turning 2.  They had the Fun Bus there.  It is school bus that has been transformed into a an indoor playground.  They had 1 hour to play around in the bus.  During this time they had alot of tumbling activities, including rings, balance beam, tire swing, summer salts down, a swinging bar, basket ball hoop, singing songs and so forth.  The bus was air conditioned and played children's music the whole time.  the kid's had a blast and the 2 women that were running it were awesome with … (3 comments)
