Happy May! The Highland Lakes real estate market is beginning to pick up, particularly waterfront and water-oriented properties. Horseshoe Bay is having record sales in high dollar lakefront homes. Summer will be here before you know it, so take a look at available properties now. Here in the Highland Lakes, it looks like the recent rains have caused the lake levels to creep up a little. Driving over the Hwy 71 Pedernales Bridge the other day was a sight to see - water for the first time in a long time! Let's hope it continues and we'll have full lakes for summertime fun. A new casual dining restaurant is coming to Marble Falls. The Coco Bay Coffee, Bar and Eatery will be located in Old Oak Square. Watch for more news soon about opening dates. Jamail's Fresh Market to start construction next month in Horseshoe Bay The first full service grocery to open in Horseshoe Bay will be located at 9710 W. RM 2147. The grocery will cost about $5M to build and will have 15,800 sqft of space. It will anchor a shopping center that could eventually reach 40,000 square feet, according to Mike Walsh, developer.
