green beer: Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Did you know that this holiday started as an irish-catholic feast in honor of the patron Saint Patrick. St. Patrick supposedly brought cristianity to Ireland and used the shamrock to explain the holy trinity to the pagans. It is believed that Saint Patrick passed away on March 17th and thus the holiday of Saint Patrick's Day! Here in America, we have picked up on that wonderful celebration! We have parades and parties. Wearing a bit of green only adds to the festivities. I know that my heritage has a very little bit of irish in it and I am only too … (2 comments)
