Area A, (Shelton, Arcadia, Kamilche) recorded sales counts of 12 closed sales totaling $1,670,500. Area B, (Hartstene/Agate area) placed 9 sales on the board in the amount of  $1,348,350. Area C, (Belfair, Allyn, Grapeview) reported 12 sales totaling $1,914,021. Area D, (Hoodsport/Union) posted 8 sales for the period in the amount of $726,900

Mason County, State of Washington Real Estate Sales during the period of April 1 through April 15 2009 posted 41 total sales in the amount of $4,394,732.
 
Single Family Resale's on less than 5 acres totaled 24 Sales. Land sold with a mobile recorded 6 sales, 5 sales of Platted Lots, 5 Short Plats and 1 Unplatted parcel. There were no sales of New Single Family, Single Family Resale's on more than 5 acres, Multi-family, Commercial or Condominiums.

The "Real State of Real Estate" Community Workshop was a great success this past Thursday Evening April 23 at the LakeLand Village Club House in Allyn, Washington, where it was well attended by Realtors, homeowners and individuals interested in Short Sales, Tax issues and Loan Modification.
 
It was an exceptional educational event.

I have been noticing a lot of green around lately. No, I am not talking about the kind of green you spend. I am referring to the great ways to be environmentally friendly. I thought I would share a little bit of what Windermere has been doing.
One of the new ideas attracting a lot of attention is "re-purposing". I guess that would make it an old idea. Anyway- it is a way to use what you already have in a new way.

                 To date Mason County has had 1,222 total real estate sales. There were 1,152 sales to Washington State Buyers. Locals made up the largest percentage of buyers numbering 747 all from zip code 985xx (Mason County). Followed by 162 buyers from zip code 983xx (Jefferson County).  The third largest percentage of buyers came from King County, 980xx, a total of 90 buyers.
             Seattle area buyers from zip code 981xx accounted for 68 sales. There were 48 sales to buyers from Tacoma, 984xx and 18 buyers from 982xx, Snohomish County. The other19 sales were spread out through most of the … (1 comments)
