Caribbean sunrise aboard the Carnival Dream out of Port Canaveral, Florida. I took these photos from our cove balcony room. We missed the sun for much of this cruise but we had a good time anyway. Check out the face in the clouds top center.
This isn't much of a sunrise but it's the best our cruise would offer this time around.
If you lived here, you could take a taxi to the cruise terminals, take a last minute trip and come back to Florida Sunshine! :-) Life is just better in Cape Canaveral / Cocoa Beach! … (8 comments)

Below is my video of our Carnival Dream Cruise shore trip featuring horseback riding, iguanas, monkeys, coatimundis and a tour of Isla Roatan. The weather wasn't great but we made the best of it and got to see the REAL Roatan. It was an experience! The locals say that international buyers are snapping up properties here and developing the island. Is that good or bad? Stay tuned. The still photos were captured from my Panasonic HDC-TM90 video camera, so they are not as crisp as photos from my Nikon D90 but I think they are acceptable for the web.
This grand pianist performed every day and did a wonderful job!
Relax with a cocktail and enjoy the music.
Go on a cruise. You'll love it! Life is just better in Cape Canaveral / Cocoa Beach!

As many of you know, my wife Marla and I recently went on a cruise aboard the Carnival Dream from Port Canaveral, Florida and I'd like to share this video with all of my friends on AR. The cruise terminal is only a 10 minute cab ride from our home :-) The weather wasn't perfect but we made the best of it and the ship's staff will do anything to please you. The food was non stop so you have to be carefull not to over indulge and there is always entertainment. We liked the adult comedy shows the best. More … (8 comments)

A view of Port Canaveral from our Cove Balcony Room as the Dream makes it's way out to sea. Great vacations begin and end right here in Central Florida. If you live here, it never has to stop! Now may be the time to own a piece of Cocoa Beach Paradise :-)

carnival dream: Costa Maya Shore Trip from the Carnival Dream: A Wild Golf Cart Drive Through the Beach Road Potholes.

Costa Maya, Mexico is known for it's coral reefs and diving. We really didn't have enough time for that on this trip, so we rented a gas powered, knobby tired golf cart and drove along the beach road. Trying to avoid all the potholes and crazy cab drivers was an adventure. The scenery was great and Marla even got to do a little shopping! :-) A roadside beach shack captured from the video.

carnival dream: Speechless Sundays Aboard the Carnival Dream Sailing out of Port Canaveral, Florida

This is the colorful atrium on the Carnival Dream featuring a grand pianist. My wife and I just got back from our 7 day cruise to the Western Caribbean and it will take me months to go through all the photos and videos.
