cars: No Beach Parking - Cars Will be Towed into the Ocean!
- 08/26/11 04:37 AM
This is the new sign put up by the Sandbar Sports Grill and The Cocoa Beach Surf Company. Hey - all you have to do (so far) is buy a beer and you can park free. Plus your car doesn't become part of an artificial reef! :-)
I used to play music at this bar on week ends as "Surfside Johnny". There's usually a pretty good crowd, the beer is cold and the food is great. Click on "Area Links" below to learn more about the Cocoa Beach area.

cars: Speechless Sundays - G20 Summit Protestors Run Amok in Toronto
- 06/27/10 04:10 AM
A group of violent protesters ran amok in downtown Toronto Saturday, leaving windows smashed, stores looted and left police cruisers in flames. The Police arrested 130 people within hours. My brother Larry took this photo among others.
My Nephew Scott standing in front of a wall of Riot Police wearing gas masks. I wonder if any Realtors were showing neighborhood homes that day? :-)

cars: GM Executive Crash Test Dummies
- 06/04/09 05:32 PM
I thought I would share this Florida Today Newspaper cartoon by Jeff Parker with my caption. They have a contest every week and it's a lot of fun to come up with something original. My alternative captions are: "I need you to extract the dummies from this dinosaur after they crash." and "Give this old fixer upper jalopy to your Grandkids. Maybe they can make it run again." It's a shame the government has to step in to fix corporate incompetence.
