fishing: Summer Fun at the Lake - A Perfect Mix of Kids, Fishing, Tubing and Nature - 07/05/11 03:47 PM
My daughter took these photos at the cottage in Ontario while enjoying the July 1st Canada Day long weekend. Our Grandkids had a blast as you can see and the only thing missing was us here in Florida. Hopefully, we will see them in the fall and we can build sand castles on the beach and do the Orlando theme parks.
That's Katy showing off her catch to Grandpa Ed.

Thomas goin' fishin'.

Hang on!!!

Relaxing on the dock.

Loons with chicks. See the one riding on Mama's back?

Many thanks to my daughter Nicole for … (20 comments)

fishing: Central Florida Boating in Kelly Park, Merritt Island. What a Great Way to Spend the Day! - 05/12/10 03:15 AM
Kelly Park on the Banana River in Merritt Island features a natural catamaran/sailboard launch area with sandy beach and shower, boat ramp and docks with adjacent parking for cars and trailers. Near a small scenic lagoon, a paved walkway connects a mid-sized pavillion with picnic tables, grills and facillities. It's a popular spot for family gatherings and events.

Boating with the family is a great way to spend the day.

Let's go fishing!

fishing: Speechless Sundays - Sail, Power and Cruise in Port Canaveral - 01/30/10 04:25 PM
Port Canaveral boats, large and small. Captain Roger Wright skippers the Rendezvous.

That's the Monarch of the Seas in the distance. We cruised to the Bahamas on that ship, considered to be small these days.

New Regal Cruisers getting ready to go to Miami for the Feb. Boat Show. After I win the lottery, I'm going to buy one!

fishing: Photos - Cocoa Beach Canal Homes are becoming an Affordable Lifestyle - 11/09/09 05:14 AM
That swirl in the water is a Manatee

Homes that sold for 500K just a few years ago plus are now being offered for as little as 250K. What better time is there to invest in the good life? Bring your boat and beach towel and enjoy!!! Life is too short and you can't take it with you :-)

fishing: Photos - Fall Colors on Lake Katchewanooka, Ontario - 10/24/09 03:39 AM
These photos were taken with my old Toshiba 3 mp camera so they're not too sharp but they bring back fond memories of fall in Ontario. I wish I had a better camera back then. My wife used to feed the blue jays, squirrels and chipmunks. The fishing was good too!

Lake Katchewanooka (near Lakefield), Ontario

It's still HOT here in Florida right now!

Taken with my old Toshiba 3 MP camera at Lake Katchewanooka, Ontario, Canada. It's still one of my favorite photos. The fishing was great!

fishing: Friday's Fotos - Port Canaveral, Florida circa 1992 - 06/12/09 03:35 AM
Captain Bill used to be my source for delicious Rock Shrimp. I brought a large paper grocery bag and he filled it up for $20. Try to find that deal today! Jack Baker's Lobster Shanty is now "advertising" these tasty treats for $14.99 and up per plate. It's the law of supply and demand and the supply has dried up due to over fishing. Port Canaveral is a much different place than when these photos were taken with my old Minolta 35 mm (the quality isn't the greatest). For the most part, I like the way the Port has transformed and … (10 comments)
