staging advice: Are You Seeing Red? Part II

Sometimes a seller just runs out of steam. Although I wanted this red bedroom neutralized with a couple of coats of "Latte" by Restoration Hardware, she ran out of time, money and energy. The solution? A Ralph "Laurenish" look. First of all I had her store her gorgeous but oversized antique bed and I replaced it with a scaled down version. The next step was to bring some toile drapes and matching plates to balance the red. Adding some sheers, as well, softened the harsh view of the house next door.
