taos local art: Copper Clad Shaman

Look at these beautiful copper shamen created by my neighbor and friend Michael Stiner. They stand bigger than lifesize in the grounds outside his home. These imposing pieces are made of pounded and oxidized copper with incredible detail and stand guard over our neighborhood in the vicinity of Blueberry Hill. Taos is an "artist community" and attracts many different artists working in different mediums.
