After the success of last year's free SAT assessments, the Kiwanis Club of Marlboro will offer a free SAT Assessment that will be held at the Marlboro Recreation Center, located at 1996 Recreation Way, Marlboro, NJ, on Saturday, March 3rd at 8:30 AM. A Continental breakfast will be served and a Parent Workshop will be held at 9:00 AM. It's great to see another old school building rehabbed, rather than torn down. The Gregory Primary School in Long Branch, New Jersey, significant as an example of early 20th century Classical Revival academic architecture and for its embrace of contemporary educational theories, is currently awaiting rehabilitation using the Federal Rehabilitation Tax Credit. Many exterior and interior architectural details, including Doric terra cotta capitals and limestone columns, survive and will be preserved. Shore Regional High School (SRHS) is among just 388 public school districts honored nationwide by being named to the Advanced Placement (AP) Achievement List by the College Board for significant gains in advanced placement access and student performance.
