Considerations for Nonresident International Buyers of rental property:
1) Will you be paying cash or finance your investment property?
2) If financing, will you use a foreign bank where you already have an account or look for another foreign or local US financial institution?
3) Will your purchase require foreign currency exchange and have you compared the costs of the conversion? Have you considered fluctuations in exchange rate between time of offer and closing and possibly locking the rate?

What financing options are available to international buyers investing in Florida & around the US?
Some international buyers choose to get financing from their home country. I often see buyers taking out a line of credit on another property in their home country. 
There are banks in the US that give loans to international buyers. I would like to start a list that I can provide to prospective international buyers. To start, I know that UBS and Royal Bank of Canada give loans to international buyers in the US.
Other options? All suggestions are welcome.
