household: Cleaning like the old days

I recently came across a little booklet with lots of ‘tips’ on how to clean your home or to make cleaning easier. Some tips seemed great or worth trying and with others I was scratching my head or even laughing out loud, here are some of them and I also added my own: These might be worth a second look: For light cleaning jobs try 1/3 cups of ammonia, 1/3 cup of white vinegar and 1/4 cup of baking soda in a gallon of warm water.
