It's another crisp, beautiful day in Maggie Valley and I've received several calls recently about what is going on in and around Haywood County during the new few weeks.
This weekend the Haywood County Fair is going on at the Fairgrounds. Here is a link to the Fair schedule.

We have had quite a bit of rain recently and Monday it didn't stop raining all day so I had to take a photo run to see how full the creeks in Maggie Valley were. Great to see that the businesses in Maggie Valley are starting to 'dress' for the Fall season. Orange really stands out when the skies are grey.

Fall is starting to creep into the mountains of Western North Carolina.  Soon the beautiful log homes and 'mountain' homes sprinkled all over the beautiful mountains of Maggie Valley, Waynesville, Canton, Clyde and Lake Junaluska will be beautifully exposed by naked trees.
