sunrise in maggie valley: Who Says Maggie Valley Doesn't Have Color This Winter? - 01/28/10 09:14 PM
Sunrise yesterday morning from my ground-level vantage point was quite beautiful. The color didn't last long but if you were lucky enough to be up and watching it, it was spectacular!
Speaking of spectacular, can you believe I found pickled ginger in Waynesville NC?
Did you hear existing homes sales plunged?

sunrise in maggie valley: Maggie Valley's Sunrise Was Something to See This Morning. - 11/17/09 12:51 AM

The sunrise this morning in Maggie Valley was amazing (again). Temperature was a brisk 40 degrees.
Just an hour or so later I was standing on my deck and noticed smoke that wasn't from a fireplace. It came from across the creek from me (not close), so I hopped in my SUV, wrapped in my leopard Snuggie, to see where the sirens were leading.

There are more fire photos here. Hopefully no one was injured.
