Frisco is one of the cities in Dallas Metro that offers many exemplary schools, and has been experiencing a tremendous growth. Data as of January 2018 shows that most homes sold were priced at $201k and above, compared to January 2017 where most homes sold were priced at $151k and above. Number of sales jumped from 156 in January 2017 to 189 in January 2018. Median price also increased from $368,500 in January 2017 to $378,100 in January 2018. 54% of homes that were sold in January 2018 were between $301k - $500k.

Allen is a city in Collin County, Texas, a northern suburb of Dallas. Just like many other cities around the Dallas Metroplex, has been experiencing a tremendous growth.  Median home price experienced some drop from $306k January 2017 to $281k in January 2018.  However, average days on the market still shows a very strong seller’s market.  The longest days on the market is three months for homes $751k and up.  There is no home under $150k, and most sold homes in January 2018 are in the price range between $201k - $300k.

Sachse is located northeastern of Dallas.  It is a city in Collin and Dallas counties in Texas and is part of the DFW Metroplex. Median home price increased from $251,000 in November 2016 to $278,000 in November 2017. Average days on the market is about a month on homes $300k and under and two months for homes $301k – 500k. Most homes sold are in the price range between $201k - $500k.

Richardson is one of the cities in Dallas Metro that has been experiencing a tremendous growth, especially after State Farm elected this city as it’s hub.   Richardson median home price jumped from $271,000 in November 2016 to a whopping $306,000 in November 2017.  There is no home under $150k, and most homes are in the price range between $201k - $500k. Average days on the market is about a month regardless of the price of the home.

Dallas County Housing Market Statistic as of November 2017 showed a strong housing market with Year to Date median sales price increasing more than 11% and closed sales increased 0.5%.  Median sales price increased 6.7% in November 2017 from November 2016, months supply of inventory stays the same at a little more than 2 months.

Median sales price in Collin County in October 2017 increased almost 6% compared to October 2016.  The market is showing a little bit of a slow down with days on the market increased to 47 days from 38 days and an increased in inventory and supply as well.  YTD Percent of original list price received dropped 0.6%.  Overall it is still a very healthy seller’s market with YTD median sales price increased of 8.4%.

Denton County continues to be a hot seller’s market.  Sales price continues to climb with median sales price increased more than 10% in September 2017 compared to September 2016.  Year to date median sales price increased 9.6% and days on the market is a little more than a month. Closed sales in September  2017 dropped about 2% compared to September 2016 but year to date closed sales increased more than 2%.

Plano just like many other cities in Collin County, Texas, shows a very strong seller’s market for second quarter 2017.  On average homes are sold 0.8% more than list price.  Median sales price leaped to $342,500 compared to $319,450 same period last year. 
Most homes in Plano are in the $300,000 - $500,000 range.  Inventory is less than 3 months for homes under  $750,000 and about 8 months for homes above $750,000.
