shut down: IRS e-services will be down August 17 - August 21

The IRS sent an announcement last week that due to a technology upgrade, numerous e-services will be down and will not be available between 8/17-8/21. That means documents needed (i.e., Tax Return Transcripts needed by lenders; W2s Transcripts needed; Proof of IRS Payments made, etc) will not be available. It is important to note that this may cause a back log which means that some closings may be delayed. If you are a home buyer, please be proactive and be in communication with your lender. … (2 comments)
