st michael minnesota: How Do I Get My FICO Score Raised to Purchase a New Home?
- 05/04/12 06:32 AM
FICO scores can range from 300 to 850 with 850 being the maximum possible score. According to the FICO scoring system there are five factors that determine a borrower’s score: 35% — A borrower’s payment history is crucial – Late payments on bills including a mortgage, credit card or automobile loan, can cause a consumer’s FICO score to worsen. Paying your bills on time will help improve a consumer’s FICO score. 30% — The borrowers credit utilization – The ratio of current outstanding debts such as credit card balances to the total available revolving credit or your credit lime will weigh (14 comments)

st michael minnesota: Starting Out Smart!
- 05/03/12 05:30 AM
When you take buyers out for the first time, do you ever end up at the end of the trip with them asking which house was the one they like? Sometimes, they never say which one was their “favorite” at the time.
Being a buyer's agent, I knew I quickly had to solve this problem. Sometimes, they forget which house had the great ensuite bathroom.
Now, as we tour homes, I give them a cheat sheet at the outset and ask them to fill in some comments while we are driving from one listing to the next. Or, (12 comments)

And, while none of the credit card information was supposedly taken, it has caused a look at the security of the system as a whole. Officials from the Three Rivers Park District have stated that while there were issues, the system is back up and running in its regular mode and that you can again make reservations for the parks in the system. st michael minnesota: A Salute to St. Michael Minnesota
- 04/17/12 08:04 AM
St. Michael was incorporated as a city in 1890 . You can see many of the old photographs in businesses around town. St. Michael was originally a village in central Frankfort, Minnesota ,which was started by Germans, but later became its own town in 1934. Frankfort was a combination of present-day Albertville, Minnesota, Hanover, Minnesota, and St. Michael, Minnesota.
St. Michael is centrally located between St. Cloud and Minneapolis along Interstate 94, which provides easy access to the Twin Cities and a variety of Minnesota's northern recreational areas.

But, there should be more done to attract buyers to stay in the community to buy their goods and services. This seminar should be at the top of every CEO and independent business owner's list of importance. Getting buyers in our area to stay in town to get groceries, eyecare, healthcare, insurance, banking, (12 comments)

st michael minnesota: Facing Foreclosure in St. Michael Albertville Minnesota? Be Wise!
- 02/11/12 01:38 PM
Several years ago, someone from the Albertville, Minnesota area called and told me that they had enlisted the assistance of one of the advertisers on television to get foreclosure assistance. (I cringed, sorry.) Well, $4,000 later, money they could not afford to spend or they would have made the payments on their home, they were facing a sheriff's sale. We might have been able to save the home from foreclosure with a short sale. But, that money was long gone. I cannot say that the people advertising on television that they could assist homeowners were con artists. But, I (16 comments)
st michael minnesota: Short Sale Sellers in St. Michael Minnesota, Be Wise!
- 02/08/12 07:04 AM
For sellers doing short sales in St. Michael, Minnesota and elsewhere, one of the first things we discuss in a listing presentation is what have they done so far. Meaning, have they contacted the lender(s), have they met with an accountant and/or attorney for advice? Our focus is to assist with the listing and sale of a property. We cannot and do not answer questions about payments, tax implications or credit issues. We understand what we can do, and that is what we do. We are not licensed or educated to provide advice about anything but real estate and we are (8 comments)

st michael minnesota: St. Michael, Minnesota - the Safest Place to Live in Wright County!
- 08/04/11 11:15 AM
Oh, some good news for a change. Wright County Sherifff Joe Hagerty presented the 2010 police report for St. Michael to the City Council. Hagerty pointed out that St. Michael had the lowest Part 1 (most serious crimes per capita in the county. And that crimes decreased by 20 percent from 2009 to 2010 with no explanation as to why that is happening. (I believe that Neighborhood Watches help). In 2010 medical calls were the most common service calls with alarms being a close second. Service calls decreased, however, by 4% from 2009 to 2010. Traffic crashes were down 24% (which (3 comments)

st michael minnesota: Farewell to a Landmark in St. Michael, Minnesota - Camp Greenwood for Girl Scouts
- 10/21/10 10:31 AM
Saturday, October 3, 2010 will be a day to remember. Camp Greenwood located here in St. Michael, Minnesota, was the home to 85 years of Girl Scout camping experience. It began when the land was donared to the Girls Scouts in 1925 by the Minneapolis Sunshine Society. (Great name or what?) The following year it was ready for scouts. They had a Robin Hood theme and the dining hall was named Sherwood. In the early 30s, it expanded by added a new lodge and boat house that featured dressing rooms and cold (brrrrrr) showers. In the 40s, all camp unites were (2 comments)
