I've seen the clever chart of Social Media Explained a few times, using doughnuts, chocolate, and even bodily functions (ew). It usually makes me chuckle. Then I think of it in my own real estate world terms. Today I thought I'd share that with you. What is your version of Social Media Explained?

I was blurfing this morning (that's blog surfing in case you didn't know) and came across Russ Gordon's Technology - Is It Really Necessary? It's worth reading what Russ had to say about social networking. He acknowledged that even with all the bells & whistles, there's no substitute for human interaction. This got me thinking about the sheer number of people I have gotten to know through social media that I've never met in person! And of these relationships, how many I wouldn't have ever connected with because of logistics. In fact, I even keep in touch with most family members (2 comments)
