home buying in idaho: Check Out The Boise Botanical Garden - 06/13/19 12:10 PM

Check Out The Boise Botanical Garden

This place has a very special spot in my heart because over twenty years ago, Michael and I were married there. Our ceremony and reception were absolutely amazing and the grounds provided a truly unforgettable experience.

The Boise Botanical Garden is one of the most beautiful, peaceful and stimulating gardens in the Northwestern U.S. and that’s why it makes the list of Boyle’s Boise: 52 Things to Do and See. And even though Michael and I were married there and we received a private tour beforehand, there have been so many additions and updates over the … (1 comments)

home buying in idaho: Visit the Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial - 01/24/19 06:37 PM
Michael has been to the Idaho Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial, but this was a first time for me. My son Jonathan visited the Anne Frank House when he went to Amsterdam in 2007, and he told us that it was one of the most powerful, moving and eye-opening experiences he ever had, so this has been on my list for quite some time. And because of that, I had to add it to the list of Boyle's Boise: 52 Things to Do and See.
The Idaho Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial is designed to appeal to people's highest human and spiritual … (0 comments)

home buying in idaho: World Center Birds of Prey - 01/23/19 05:56 PM
Last week, Michael and I did something that we have both done before, but it's been over a decade since the last time. As Boise natives already know, the Treasure Valley is home to the world leader and most extensive, renown Birds of Prey. It’s such an enjoyable, affordable way to spend a day in Boise and makes the list of Boyle's Boise: 52 Things to Do and See.
Before I get into my favorite birds and exhibits, here's a bit of background on the World Center Birds of Prey organization (also called The Peregrine Fund). The Peregrine Fund is a 501(c)3 … (0 comments)

home buying in idaho: Take a Day Trip to Zims in McCall - 01/22/19 04:04 PM
Zims will always hold a special place in my heart because Jonathan and I spent a lot of time there during the first year after Jonathan was born. We lived in New Meadows, a small and quiet town about 20 minutes past McCall, and we went to swim and play in the natural hot springs several times a week.
Since then, Michael and I have been to Zims a few times over the years, but have never driven to McCall specifically to go to Zims and make a day out of it. So, here’s a bit about how our day went, and … (0 comments)

home buying in idaho: Watch a Hockey Game - 01/22/19 03:45 PM
Who would have known that Boise is a big hockey community, right?! Now I have been to a few hockey games at Century Link over the years, but I have never written and documented my experience there, so this time, I paid much closer attention to everything than in the past.
Checking out a Hockey game, grabbing some food, drinks and supporting the Idaho Steelheads is a great way to spend a Saturday night in Boise. I also have to say how nice Century Link is inside since the last time I was there, along with a great atmosphere including all the … (0 comments)

home buying in idaho: Procrastination - 05/27/16 08:59 AM
The problem with waiting until tomorrow is that when it finally arrives, it is called today.  All too often we will waste tomorrow as we wasted yesterday, and as we are wasting today.  Each of us has to remind ourselves that the clock is ticking.  Time is the great equalizer of all mankind.  It has taken away the best and the worst of us without regard for either.  Time offers opprotunity but demands a sense of urgency.
When the game of life is finally over, there is no second chance to correct our errors.  We still have all the time we need. … (2 comments)

home buying in idaho: True Leadership - 05/27/16 08:15 AM
True leadership must be for the benefit of the followers, not to enrich the leader....-John C.Maxwell.  What is servant leadership?  The concept of servant leadership starts by being a servant first.  A servant leader must first learn to serve before taking on a leadership position.  Servant leaders must focus on the well-being and indivdual growth of followers.  People will not follow a leader until he/she shows genuine interest in them.

home buying in idaho: Cody Hobb Testimonial - 05/25/16 11:01 AM
We found Suzi after having an absolutely terrible experience with our bank and trying to get a loan from them.  The bank was terrible about communicating and getting the job done in general.  We were about 60 days in when we left them..We found Suzi and restarted with her and she got us closed in a matter of 17 days and was communicating with us the entire time!  For the loan we did, my understanding is that amount of time is unheard of.  Suzi and her team do not waste any time! They pulled us out of our mess and made … (0 comments)

home buying in idaho: Successful Visualization - 08/26/15 12:06 AM
Visualize your success". It's something we hear a lot of these days.  However we don't always know how to make our visualizations powerful enough so that they become a reality.
The first step in any visualization process is to believe that you can have it.  As Henry Ford once said "Whether you believe you can or you can't, either way you are right."

Of all the things that can have an effect on your future, personal growth is the greatest. We can talk about sales growth, profit growth, and asset growth, but all of this probably will not happen without personal growth.
It's really the door open door to it all. In fact I'd like to have you memorize a most important phrase. Here it is: "The major key to your better future is YOU."
A lot of people want to be successful, and they don't even work on their handshake. As easy as that would be to start, they let it slide. Develop an above … (2 comments)
