I've lived in several homes over the years. Each one holds sweet, special and unique memories for me.
But each one also shares something in common with all the rest. At every home I've lived in there have been great neighbors who became dear friends - many of whom I'm blessed to be in contact with to this day - some by phone, some by Facebook, all by sweet memories. Some have even gone home to heaven and I look forward to seeing them again someday. :)

Beazer Homes - I've had the chance to visit a few in California when we were house hunting, once upon a time, and remember them as quite nice and practical homes. Fun to visit and daydream of future family events as we wandered through their lovely interiors, looking for just the right fit for our family.
Now, they have me daydreaming again. This time, Beazer Homes wants us to think about what's in our new dream house. Of course, the first thing that pops into my head? Aging in Place and Universal Design options for my senior mom, my visiting grandkids, other family … (0 comments)

My senior mom and I love to take walks when the weather is nice, the walk is short (my mom's health is not so great lately), and I'm not out working with real estate clients. Some time ago, we enjoyed a short walk that included getting to see a DEER. 

Later in that week, while heading towards a new construction open house I was going to be working at, I listened to a great verse-by-verse Bible study on Hebrews 11. Fellow baby boomer and grandfather, Pastor Joe Focht, quoted Genesis 22:14 and the words, "The Lord will provide" jumped out at me. … (4 comments)

I was so encouraged by today's sermon as we study through the book of James. I wanted to share some of the Bible verses with my grandkids this week, as well as be reminded of them through the day, so I made a couple of my Scripture iPhone Wallpaper pages for them. Here's one. I used a photo of the gorgeous Forsythia that is beautifully proclaiming SPRING IS COMING here in Pierce County Washington:
