Oh, How I Love a Turret!
What can I say. I fell in love with these back in the Green Bay, WI home tours they used to have open to the public every spring and fall. For something like $10, you got to tiptoe through the Home Show and maybe 30 homes were opened up for everyone to walk through.
Local builders had an advertising frenzy and you got to see innovations and designs you might never have thought of.

I've read quite a few posts and enjoyed some truly terrific photography this December on Active Rain. I mentioned in a few comments left behind that in Tucson, folks tend to decorate...the ground. Folks asked for photos, so here's the best my little Canon can do!
It's challenging to decorate a cactus.
It's also challenging to affix light strings to tile roofs and stucco walls.
And then there's the thorny yard landscaping.
And the high "winter" winds we can experience.
