Where have all the buyers gone?! Wow, just a few short months ago - homes were flying off the shelves and we were contacting homeowners in Red Rock trying to find homes for sale for our buyers. Market times were mostly under 30 days and small homes were snatched up with multiple offers. Current day: As of mid September, homes are sitting on the market much longer, averaging 53 days on the market for active listings. Despite being a community with school, splash water park, relatively new builds and easy access to I-10, values hover around $76 a square foot or $165,000 average … (3 comments)
January numbers in Tucson Real Estate - what's the Market Snapshot?
Surprisingly, sales prices have dropped from last month, almost 5%! Very interesting is the fact that new listing inventory has jumped by over 64%! There are 64% more homes for sale right now, than were available the month before.
If that doesn't mean you ought to be looking, let me tell you something...if you are a buyer looking at homes for sale in Tucson, stop looking .... make an offer!! (I'll be happy to help you with that)
San Lucas is a very attractive little community along Interstate 10, about ten minutes north of Tucson/Marana town proper. The community has a lovely backdrop of the Tortolita Mountains and is minutes from the Marana Town Hall and Municipal area, almost completed Marana Health Center, and some limited shopping and restaurant choices.

Is that Mud on your shoes or were you just eating chocolate....I have a new listing, and the investor/owners are wearing their hearts on their sleeves right now.My clients hope to buy and sell modestly over the next few years. With a lot of market study and careful decisions, they recently bought a fixer-upper with my help, and had it completely renovated. It's a very small property, priced to appeal to the market in this neighborhood.This is not a luxury home. It is not a million-dollar mansion in the foothills overlooking spectacular sunsets. Things that Make you Say WOW!! A couple of months ago, a member of a my "back-up team" (we back each other during vacations, etc) emailed all of us to see whether anyone would be interested in working with an investment buyer from out of state. The buyer wanted a fix-up for his brother, and he was looking in the $30,000 range.
