A Slice of Heaven by Robert Swetz On our drive back from Homer to Anchorage my wife was sleeping because she had to work this morning, I captured a Slice of Heaven. There was quite a bit of traffic headed into Anchorage driving around Turn Again Arm but I had to turn around to take in the beauty and share this moment with you. Every time I visit Alaska I take hundreds of photographs because I have been into photography most of my life.
I have been to this area where this photo was taken around 50 times and for some reason every time I visit areas in Alaska the scene seems to change from the different seasons, clouds, position of the sun and more.
Now the first time you view this photo you might think it was photo shopped to bring out the vibrant colors and I may have tweeted it just a little.

The sun set in Homer Alaska finally at around 2:00am and then came up at aroun 4:00am. While the sun was coming up there was a morning fog floating around the land in from on my home.

I have been traveling to Alaska for the last 4 years now, and spending many weeks and months in this time. After visiting Alaska once again I am into the 7th day now.
All I can say from this visit is Alaska continues to impress me with it's beauty. Everyday I spend in Alaska I am caught off guard by breath taking mountains covered with white snow, the color of green and blues and other colors.
Could a person ever become bored of such beauty?
I think not ...

Robert "Vegas Bob" Swetz arrived in beautiful Alaska several days ago, and wow how nice it is to be back.
I will be spending over one week in Anchorage, Soldotna, Homer, Palmer, Wasilla and other wonderfully beautiful places. I have been taking many new photographs and this is just one of them. Growing up in the Midwest surrounded by 10,000 lakes I always dreamed of going to Alaska. I can't even remember how many times I would say to family and friends, I am going to go to Alaska some day.

Guess where Robert Vegas Bob Swetz is headed?
Robert Swetz just finished booking his flight and rental car for his next visit to beautiful Alaska. Because I booked one month in advance I got a smoking deal on airfare for $404 dollars round trip in June and $45 dollars per day on the rental car.
And because I own several properties in Alaska the trip will be a total write off. Property owners can write off visits to properties twice per year anywhere around the world.

My first visit to Alaska was back in 2001 and I have been living and traveling back and forth to Alaska from the Lower 48 for around 4 years now.
I have traveled all over the USA and other parts of the world and I have yet to find a place as quiet and beautiful as Alaska.
Northern California, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Oregon, Utah, Minnesota and other states have come close to the beauty Alaska has to offer but not quite as quiet and or serene.

Robert Vegas Bob Swetz and several friends and associates have been working on some Investment Projects for quite some time.
One of these projects consist of purchasing run down homes in Las Vegas and Henderson Nevada. Then renovating these homes into rental properties for income producing homes.
The second investment project would be to start building homes in Anchorage and learn the process with another friend of mine. Once learned obtain my own contractors license, purchase vacant land in Homer and other areas of Alaska and build homes.
