Get more Exposure at ActiveRain by Posting to 5 different Groups
So often I see "Newbies" and other ActiveRain members blogging and writing posts to only 1 group or no group at all!
The ActiveRain platform allows members to post to 5 different groups, so this being said, it makes more sense to use 5 groups vs none.
I moderate all these groups down below and roll through them every other week featuring the ones that I like. So if you would really like to get to know Robert Swetz aka Vegas Bob/Alaska Bob, this would be a great way to do this.

Family & Friends tell me blogging is a waste of time ...
Over the years and even this week a friend of mine told me "Blogging is waste of time" and " I don't know why you keep writing blogs"?
Around 4-5 years ago I would explain to Family & Friends how important blogging was for business, getting yourself know world wide, etc.
But this week when a friend told me again that blogging was a waste of time for like the 10th time, I had a different response.

The Activerain network has been a part of my life now for 7+ years when I first joined in January of 2008.
It's hard to believe I have been with Activerain that long and time seems to be flying by so fast.
When I first joined the Activerain network, I did it for exposure and didn't even know what a blog was, Google or Twitter.
After several months I started to focus on plugging my businesses, forming friends & associates, etc.
Then after a year I started to experiment with loading photos, and at that time photos were now very popular, mostly words.

What is a Blog?
She said that a Blog was an opinion, statement, branding of the person writing the Blog.
Whether a person is Blogging for business, pleasure or exposure, it is a Journey.
Blogging takes patience, understanding, creativity, courage, knowledge and more.
And some may ask what makes the Perfect Blog, well ...
There is no such thing as a Perfect Blog ;o/

There sure has been a lot of posts written about the name Alaska Bob being replaced for Vegas Bob.
So I was wondering if some Activerain members are thinking ... enough of Alaska Bob ;o/
We want Vegas Bob Back ...
Well just a heads-up everyone, Robert Swetz has been posting thousands and thousands of stories, photographs, videos and so much more under the name Vegas Bob for around 7 years now.
Even though Robert has been trying to replace the nickname Vegas Bob with Alaska Bob, the many blogs over the years will never go away.

Lately Vegas Bob has noticed older members posting again and quite a few new members joining the Activerain network.
And I think the number one reason is because Ben Kinney now owns the Activerain network, and he brought Bob Stewart back.
Has anyone else noticed older members blogging again or more often then before?
Has anyone else noticed quite a few new members at the Activerain network?
What ever the reason may be for some old friends and faces appearing once again at Activerain and the new faces jumping aboard, Vegas Bob likes it.

When Robert Vegas Bob Swetz first joined the Activerain network back in January 2008, it was exciting ...
In fact Robert Swetz was so into the Activerain network back in 2008, that he founded 20+ groups at the AR network that he continues to moderate.
The Activerain network has had it's ups and downs over the years, but then again so does every network.
Over the many years that Robert was plugging the Activerain network, he was given the name "Vegas Bob" from some of the members that have now since left AR.

With zero Internet or phone service at the RV park where Vegas Bob is staying, he is stuck blogging over the road ;o/
God seems to be testing VB's patience "Day in and Day out" ...
But VB knows this will not last forever, so until VB has more time please try and have the patience he has been dealing with.

It's been almost 2 months now since Vegas Bob has been in front of a laptop or desk computer ;o(
He have been posting blogs at Activerain from a old IPhone 4, ten plus times per week, moderating 25 groups and leaving 20 comments per day to AR members.
Well now it has become worse for Vegas Bob ...
He just moved in with some coworkers huge RV trailer in Morgan Hill by the wine vineyards .
When VB and friends are in the trailer and RV park grounds, there is "ZERO" Internet device and "ZERO" phone service.

Well you will never guess where Vegas Bob is right now?
Yes, Las Vegas and he finally has access to the Internet after one month of complete torture ;o(
Spring Break has hit Las Vegas so the Swim pools around the strip are packed with bikinis and Vegas Bob.
I will only be in Vegas for several days and then I have to get back to San Jose to make more $$$$$ :o)
