customer service: Is there a limit on the price of gifts we can give clients? - 05/29/15 11:37 PM
Many many moons ago when Vegas Bob was in school studying for his Real Estate License his teacher mentioned strongly about gifts to clients ...

He said giving money to clients was a no-no ... but gifts are OK.

So is there a limit of value to the gifts?

Vegas Bob is going to have to say no ...

In fact Vegas Bob has been known to pay all closing costs for some clients that have amounted to up to $6000 dollars ...

Trips to Hawaii for 2, washer/dryers, brand new refrigerators, BIG screen televisions and so much more.

In fact Vegas Bob has a huge client … (8 comments)

customer service: Cut & Pasted post from my iPhone "King of Groups" at Activerain - 04/04/15 11:56 AM
Activerain Groups by Robert Swetz - 18 of over 30 - Please (Bookmark Post)
Here are just a handful of the many groups at Activerain that Robert (Vegas Bob) Swetz moderates himself! Robert Swetz has more groups at Activerain then any other member and always finds time to (Feature), comment and reply to most comments left in these groups.
The main reason that Robert (Vegas Bob) Swetz formed all these group is because when he first joined Certain Groups were deleting his posts from their groups. This bothered Robert so bad that he started forming his own.
Please note: Robert Swetz has never deleted … (6 comments)

customer service: Vegas Bob's Clients asking Why Listing Agents Don't Answer their Phone - 03/23/14 12:35 PM
Another day in paradise around the Las Vegas Valley, temperatures in the upper 70s and YES Vegas Bob works on Sundays.
When it comes to Real Estate, Vegas Bob works 7 days per week.  That is if someone wants to look at homes. VB met with his client this morning at the office around 10:00am and pulled up some listings. Friday and Saturday, my client and I searched "Vacant Homes" and didn't run into any problems. So today/Sunday my client and I searched other homes of interest that were "Owner Occupied"
VB started making phone calls to the Listing Agents because … (18 comments)

customer service: Vegas Bob says "Shame on you DELTA AIRLINES" ... very poor Customer Service! - 09/02/11 05:52 PM

Robert (Vegas Bob) Swetz's father and some other relatives flew into Las Vegas Nevada this evening, and they were very disappointed with DELTA AIRLINES.
They flew in from Minneapolis Minnesota on Flight 1551 which arrived in Las Vegas at around 7:00pm Pacific time 9-2-2011. They mentioned to Vegas Bob that the Flight Attendants were plain rude, yelling at passengers, etc.
One passenger asked a Flight Attendant for a glass of water for his child and they said no, also that they wouldn't be serving any beverages on a 3 hour flight.
My father, sister and other passengers mentioned that the … (24 comments)

customer service: "Customer Service" is very important in any Industry ... - 08/14/11 06:09 AM
As a Real Estate agent and business owner "Customer Service" is very important to Vegas Bob and it should also be to your businesses.
So many times "Customer Service" is over looked good or bad and can really help or hurt a business.
When ever VB is purchasing and or working with businesses he is always looking for that (Sparkle) of "Customer Service" that sets other businesses apart from others.
Vegas Bob doesn't want to be treated rude, doesn't want to be left waiting for long periods of time and would like someone working with him that really knows there business.

customer service: When is the last (time) you had to let a client go because they were wasting your (time)? - 09/21/09 12:14 AM
When is the last (time) you had to let a client go because they were wasting your (time)?
(Business is business) and one always hates to lose a client for any reason, but sometimes you just have to let a few go.
I have had several clients in the past that wanted me to pull listings from MLS and email them, drive them around (Time after Time) and never finding that home they really like.

We always like to look at our clients with the best respect and give them the best (Customer Service) but you always get one of … (11 comments)

customer service: Is MLS the dinosaur of the Real Estate arena? - 08/05/09 03:04 PM
Is MLS the dinosaur of the Real Estate arena?
Why is the technology, google juice, etc. for Zillow.com, Home Buyers report (Scouting Report) and so many other Real Estate networks blowing away MLS?
Several years ago when I sold strictly Commercial Real Estate I dropped MLS because my Broker told me it was a joke. Most of my transactions are from buyers and at this moment I have no listings. So I am paying $1500 dollars per year to be with MLS and another $500 for a Supra key.
I really only need the Supra key to show homes because I … (22 comments)

customer service: Do you like Good customer service or Poor customer service? - 07/29/09 04:42 PM
Do you like Good customer service or Poor customer service?
I really think that Customer Service is very important with any business and I believe it can make or break a business.
If I am paying for a product, service, etc. I want (Good) Customer Service because that is what I give my clients when they work with me. And for any business these days that has (Poor) Customer Service, be very careful! They could take legal action against you and really hurt your business.
So I would like to hear from you about Customer Service and if you really think it … (3 comments)

Robert Swetz crashes Motorcycle at DMV in Las Vegas, Nevada      CUSTOMER SERVICE
I did not have a very lucky day yesterday 2-10-2009 riding my motorcycle.
Last year I had 2000 dollars worth of fiber glass & paint work done to my motorcycle. I was headed to DMV to register my BMW in the State of Nevada. Approx 1 mile from where I store my bike, I came around this corner at (DMV) Department of Motor Vehicles at around 5-10 miles per hour and my bike just flipped out from underneath me and scrapped the side of my bike. I just missed … (13 comments)

customer service: My first blog to the new (Customer Service) Group! - 12/20/08 08:03 AM
My first blog to the new (Customer Service) Group!
This is my first posted blog to the new (Customer Service) Group. My first company that I have had the worst Customer Service is (Bank of America).
There is this Bank of America location only 2 blocks from where we live and it's one problem after another, some of the tellers are rude and I have stood toe to toe with the manager.
I contacted Bank of America and filed a complaint, since then when I walk into the bank I have received wonderful service. Bank of America mentioned to me if … (4 comments)

customer service: Is Customer Service important to you? - 12/20/08 06:25 AM

Customer Service is very important to me and some times over looked by others.
When I first started selling Real Estate I had this one client from South East Asia. She was very picky about what the number of her house was, where the front door was located, etc.
I worked with her for over 2 months, showed her over 50 homes, would hand deliver faxes that came through to me etc. Believe me, I went out of my way to give her the best Customer Service.
The type of Customer Service that has been lacking from 50% of … (7 comments)
