Well here is a priceless photograph taken at Knife Lake in Mora Minnesota around 1992.
Robert "Vegas Bob" Swetz on the far left, my grandfather Steven Swetz in the middle, my father Robert Swetz Sr pointing at the camera on the far right and my son Jefferey with the red sweat pants.

Robert Vegas Bob Swetz Steps WAY Back in Time
Vegas Bob has been visiting Minnesota for 5 days now! Spending quality time with his father, older sister, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, in-laws and very close friends.
I have always realized that when ever we visit and or spend time in areas we were born and raised, our minds race with memories of when we were very young and growing up!
In fact look what Vegas Bob came across on the wall at his sister's home, an old photograph of Robert Swetz when he was about 1 year old with his sister that was 5.

I lost a close friend and father figure today
James Lukecart was a very close friend and employee of my father's around 30 years ago, and the father of one of my best friends. Well today he passed away from health issues at the young age of 84.
I remember James who we called "Jimmy" when he worked for my father's glass business in St Paul Minnesota many years ago, he was aways full of laughter and kindness.
I also remember Jimmy when his sons and I use to fish on Milacs Lake in northern Minnesota, which we did for over 30 years.

I can't believe it's been 6 long yeas since the last time I was in Minnesota, wow how time flies by!
The 3rd week of October Robert Vegas Bob Swetz will be going back to Minneapolis where he was born and raised until the age of 17.
At Age 17 Vegas Bob moved to Portland Oregon and lived for 5 years and then lived in Santa Barbara, San Francisco and then in his 30's Vegas Bob moved to Las Vegas Nevada.

My father quit traveling by air several years ago because of his knees and back, so it's been long time since I've seen him.
His last visit to Las Vegas was 2-3 years ago, I can't even remember. And it's been around 4-5 years since I have visited him in Minnesota.
There is a friend of mine that sent me a text message yesterday and mentioned that the doctor has given his father 90 hours to live, give or take and my friend is the same age as me.

Robert "Vegas Bob" Swetz Caesars Palace Las Vegas Nevada
In the late 70's Robert Vegas Bob Swetz father owned a glass company named "Larry's Metro Glass" in St Paul Minnesota.
Robert's father was a glazier (glass installer) all his life and Vegas Bob remembers sweeping floors when he was 11 years old, at that time VB's father was a foreman for "Brin Northwestern Glass"
Vegas Bob started working for his father's company Larry's Metro Glass" when he was 16 years old.

Where did Robert Vegas Bob Swetz's 'kind-heartedness' come from? Robert Swetz's kind-heartedness' all started at the very young age of six years old. Robert's father started sharing with him love, kindness, honesty, etc, before he was six years old. But is wasn't till Robert's parents divorced around the age of 6 that Robert really started developing a kind heart. "Life" is a Learning Lesson & Very Short compared to "Eternity" ...
When we are born into this World everything is new and as infants "Life becomes a Learning Lesson".
We learn to talk, walk, laugh, cry and to express ourselves within the World.
And as we become Teenagers Life seems so confusing and Time goes by so slow, we are not sure what we want to be in Life and or do for careers, etc. As Teenagers we go through falling in Love and our hearts being broken.
