A Slice of Heaven by Robert Swetz On our drive back from Homer to Anchorage my wife was sleeping because she had to work this morning, I captured a Slice of Heaven. There was quite a bit of traffic headed into Anchorage driving around Turn Again Arm but I had to turn around to take in the beauty and share this moment with you. I had one of the strangest dreams last night, and it was so vivid in colors.
I was wearing some clothes from India or the Middle East, my head was rapped with a turban and my clothes seem to be of royalty.
My father was standing in front of me. And as he was standing there my body rose up around 30-40 feet in the air.

heaven: "SLICE OF HEAVEN" at Walker Lake Nevada by Robert (Vegas Bob) Swetz

On my trip to the Redwoods last week I stopped by "Walker Lake" in Nevada only 15 miles north of Hawthorne.
When I saw the clouds reflecting on the very calm water like a mirror I just had to pull over to take some photographs, and a short one minute video.
The scene was "Breath-Taking" and I posted a photo last week that received some wonderful comments, but I am afraid that this 60 second video is going to receive more attention ... ;o)

Good Morning Active Rain Members and have you ever seen a view of Lake Tahoe like this?
This view was not easy to capture because of the height I was at and the moving around by the gusts of wind at the high level. This shot was taken 1500 feet para-sailing from a two person sail.
My wife and I stopped by Lake Tahoe to play in July of this year when the fires were burning up California. We were on our way to visit my first Active Rain member since I joined the network, Jessica Bigger -

This beautiful Sunset photograph was Taken in Colorado Utah this evening.
I spent the weekend in Cedar City Utah and around South West Utah only 2 hours from Las Vegas Nevada.
There are so many National and State Parks in Utah, almost half of the state is made up of Parks. I took some very - very beautiful photographs I will be sharing through different groups at Active Rain.

If Heaven were in the clouds, would it look like this?
I have always wondered why we think and believe that Heaven is in the clouds, it must be from the Bible and other books we read.
When I was headed to Houston last week and I looked at these clouds rolling across the horizon, I thought to myself how beautiful. I have several more and they are all breath taking.
