Was Robert Swetz the California Kid before he became Vegas Bob?
Robert Swetz was born in the Midwest and when he was a teenager moved to Portland Oregon and lived there off and on for 5 years. The photo (above) was taken in Santa Cruz in 2016 and the photo (below) was taken in Portland Oregon in 1979.
In 1982 Robert Swetz lived and worked in downtown San Francisco and in 1983 he lived in Santa Barbara and also worked as a glazier in the construction trade.

Well Vegas Bob will be headed to Minnesota early this afternoon and it's been 5-6 years since I have gone back.
Being born and raised in Minnesota every time I go back there I get flashbacks of when I was very young.

Now some of you might think with the name "Vegas Bob" that I must have been born and raised in Las Vegas Nevada.
But actually Vegas Bob was born in the state of Minnesota.

Robert Vegas Bob Swetz will be flying into Minneapolis Minnesota this coming Wednesday for 6 days and he (will not) be taking his laptop.
This shouldn't be a problem for Vegas Bob because his laptop is a (new) HP with Windows 10 and Windows 10 SUCKS!
So Vegas Bob will be trying to get 10 posts written and loaded up before noon on Wednesday.
Can it be done, why not and this is already my 3rd post in about 45 minutes.

That's right Vegas Bob will be bonding with his father that just turn 80 years old in September, hanging out with my older sister, cousins, aunts & uncles and some very close friends.
The last time Vegas Bob was in Minnesota was around 5 years ago so it will be very fun and exciting.
And with the Vikings at 5 wins and 0 losses this year I hope I don't jinx them when they play Philadelphia on Sunday.

I can't believe it's been 6 long yeas since the last time I was in Minnesota, wow how time flies by!
The 3rd week of October Robert Vegas Bob Swetz will be going back to Minneapolis where he was born and raised until the age of 17.
At Age 17 Vegas Bob moved to Portland Oregon and lived for 5 years and then lived in Santa Barbara, San Francisco and then in his 30's Vegas Bob moved to Las Vegas Nevada.

Robert Swetz aka Vegas Bob spent most of his younger years in Minneapolis Minnesota with his parents and hundreds of relatives.Minnesota is called the Land of 10,000 Lakes and actually there are more lakes than 10,000.
Here are some photographs of homes with snow and without snow, and the snow has melted and been gone for many months now. The trees are budding, growing leaves and the grass has been turning green for quite some time.Robert spent most of his younger years fishing lakes in Brainerd, Crosby, Aitkin,Grand Rapids, Mille Lacs, Minnetonka and many other areas.

In the late 70's Robert Vegas Bob Swetz father owned a glass company named "Larry's Metro Glass" in St Paul Minnesota.
Robert's father was a glazier (glass installer) all his life and Vegas Bob remembers sweeping floors when he was 11 years old, at that time VB's father was a foreman for "Brin Northwestern Glass"
Vegas Bob started working for his father's company Larry's Metro Glass" when he was 16 years old.

Around 30 years ago when I lived in a apartment building in south Minneapolis Minnesota around the Lakes area I had 2 encounters with Ghosts or Spirits.
The building that I lived in was built around 1927 and the building was around 3 blocks from one of the largest Cemeteries in south Minneapolis.

I ran into Snoopy and more at the Minneapolis Minnesota Airport!
Snoopy and his friend Woodstock were walking through the Minneapolis Airport today and I had to get a shot of the two of them.
The I snapped a photo of this man in this old airplane flying through the airport, strangest thing I've ever seen!
Then to top it off, these weird looking War of the World machines were spraying some strange alien chemical all over our airplane. It was this bright green looking color that looked like radiator fluid.

Clear skies from Las Vegas to Mpls/ St Paul by:Robert Swetz
I didn't sleep a wink on my flight from Las Vegas, Nevada to Mpls/ St Paul Minnesota. Reason, because 90 percent of the flight there wasn't a cloud in the sky. Being a photographer, I was afraid I would miss something.
The photograph above is Lake Mead - Colorado River in Nevada and was taken from 30,000 feet. If you look really really close you can see little white dots the size of a pin, these are boats. How's that for detail?
