What do you know about boat a cruise?
My wife is very interested in going on a boat cruise this early Spring, and I wanted to ask everyone at Activerain their opinion on boats cruises.

Yes the prices are still going down and now is the time to start looking to purchase.
There are some homes that have gone down as much as 60-70 percent of the value two years ago. And investors are coming in and picking them up at great prices.
Spring prices are going to go back up and right now sellers are very desperate to sell before the new year. So jump on-line, get your self a flight out to Las Vegas and look around. I have left you with some photographs of … (4 comments)

Beautiful Lake with very unusual colored sand - by Robert Swetz
This has to be some of the strangest colored sand I have ever seen, I did not change the color on this beautiful pic shot just out of Hurricane Utah.
The water in the lake is spring water from the mountains and it is crystal clear with trout and other fish swimming around.
If you wade around the shore line the sand around the whole lake is this color, only a little darker when it's wet.

Unbeleivable structures of Temples photographed in Asia for my friends at Active Rain.
This is one of my favorite areas of Bagan Myanmar as you can see by this photograph, these buildings date back around 2000 years and were built by kings back before Jesus Christ was born.
With over 7000 temples built in Bagan alone, it is a very historical place to visit.
If you ever plan a trip to South East Asian, try to visit Bagan Myanmar and it will be a trip of a life time.

Have I done every thing I've wanted to do in my life?
As I sat on the California coast listening to the waves crashing against the rocks, I thought about this question.
I have had almost all of my dreams come true and there are very few places I want to see.
New Zealand, The Great Wall of China and Tibet are the only places left for me to see, and we will be going to New Zealand & China in Spring of 2009.
As for my dreams and goals besides travel, I only have two left.

These temples in South East Asia - Myanmar date back around 2000 years.
These temples are in Bagan which at one time was a very powerful city, full of Kings that built around 7000 temples like the ones in this photograph.
Many of them became damaged by earthquakes and weather, but the people of Myanmar have been fixing the damaged ones. As you can see in this photograph, the one with the painted gold top has be rebuilt.

After 380 blogs at Active Rain and 3 featured I have finally come to the conclusion with some help from other members.
Who Cares!
What do you really get when you get a Gold Star at Active Rain? Some excitement for a few days, maybe one week. Members coming around just because you received a Gold Star commenting congratulations, etc.
Does a member get more business and more leads because of a Gold Star? Not necessarily!

Good morning everyone and it is a lovely one in Las Vegas Nevada, temperature about and 65 headed to about 80-85 degrees.
Went for a little jog this morning and thought I would send you a lovely sunrise photograph to help your day be a bright one.
It is Friday and I hope everyone has some great plans for the weekend. I am headed to Ceder Breaks Utah about 2 hours out of Las Vegas to take some great photographs of the mountains and the leaves changing.
