These photographs was taken last year on our visit to Myanmar/ Burma of my brother-in-laws youngest daughter he has not seen in three years.
My brother-in-law Thar Thar came to America three years ago leaving behind his wife & three daughters. Thar Thar's family should be coming to America within the next 6 months and it will be very exciting for this little one to see her father again.
As you can see in the photo below this little girl was either scared of my beard or just knew I wasn't her father ... ;o)

Robert & Nu Nu ran into these children on a small island of the coast of Myanmar/ Burma in 2010. They couldn't speak a word of English and were quite amazed when they saw me. At first they were very quiet but after Nu Nu started speaking Burmese to them they became very excited with laughter and smiles.
These children live a very different life then many children around the world. They have no television, radios, microwaves, showers, refrigerators and all the luxuries that we have here in America and other parts of the world.

Over the weekend my wife Nu Nu spoke with me about creating another Facebook account with photographs from Myanmar/ Burma, Thailand and other countries in South East Asia.
Well Vegas Bob listened to Nu Nu and created a new account named Myanmar/ Burma at Facebook and started posting photo albums & photographs.
The photograph above was taken on a beach in Myanmar and is the the cover of beaches in Myanmar & Thailand.

Thank God my wife Nu Nu missed the Earthquakes & Storms in Japan by days. Nu Nu and her mother arrived in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon and Nu Nu and her mother had only left hours before 2 Earthquakes reaching Magnitudes of 7.0 hit Myanmar.

Here is a must see sunrise pic that was taken at Inlay Lake Myanmar (Burma), the morning after the storm hit the country around two weeks ago.
It is very strange how Myanmar can have such a terrible storm in the evening and then that following morning create such a beautiful sunrise.

Vegas Bob and Nu Nu ran into a very large group of Burmese women on their visit back in 2008 and they had never seen an American and they were all shy and giggly.
So Nu Nu asked them if they would like a photograph with Vegas Bob and they said yes in Burmese not even knowing a thing about Las Vegas and who this Vegas Bob guy was!

"Good Morning" Activerain from the beaches of Myanmar (Burma)
On my last visit to Myanmar (Burma) by in April of 2010 Nu Nu, Sherry and I took a 5 minute boat ride from one Island we were staying to another one that had no hotels and less people. Nu Nu & Sherry went for a swim and Vegas Bob went for a stroll along the beaches of the Island.
As I walked further around the beach there were less boats and no people anywhere, it seemed like for a moment that it was our our Island. It was … (10 comments)

My "Photographs" are my Memories of where I have been in Life!
When ever I travel I make sure to take plenty of "Photographs" of the different places I have been. Sure we have Memories of our vacations and place we have traveled but the Memories in our heads sometimes become blurred, broken up and "Fade Away."
"Photographs" are like a "Fingerprint in Time" a "Captured Moment" a "Visual Setting" that shows that exact Picture Frame that you were there.

A morning walk along the Beach ... "Refreshing the Soul"
A fresh morning walk along the beach, the fresh salt air, sounds of waves crashing along the shore & seagulls flying in the sky.
Most of my time when I was in Myanmar & Thailand was spent along the beaches. I would take long walks in the morning, evenings & afternoons walking and taking photographs and video.
I look forward to spending more time by the ocean and taking in what I would call "Refreshing the Soul"

There is going to be a HUGE Celebration today 6-20-2010 at Sunset Park in SE Las Vegas only minutes from the airport, and everyone is invited. It's not going to be anything like "Water Festival" in Myanmar (Burma) like the photograph (above) but we wish it was!
Robert Swetz (Vegas Bob) wil be there with "two" Video cameras and one still camera taking Videos for YouTube and still photographs for memories.

Nu Nu, Sherry and I were walking around this lake looking at some beautiful homes and I came across these two very beautiful "Hot Pink" flowers.
The water was kind of dirty which created a grayish look and the Lilly Pads were reflecting off the overcast sky, so the results were ...

I captured a precious moment of Nu Nu & Sherry playing on the beach in Myanmar, and I have been posting quite a few videos of Nu Nu & Sherry. The reason is because they are coming home later next week and I am very excited! And when they arrive in the United States I will be taking video of Nu Nu & Sherry in Las Vegas, California, Utah, Minnesota, New Mexico and more. This Video was Nu Nu's idea and what a great idea it was! Nu Nu, Sherry and I came across this Burmese family that has a home on the beach with breath-taking shoreline. They live there for FREE, no taxes, no rent, no bills, and all they have to do is grow their food, hunt & fish. If I wanted to purchase 500 feet of shoreline with about one acre in land it would start at around $8,000 dollars. Vegas Bob is back in America and here are some photographs of a very famous temple I spent some time at before my flight back to America.
These photographs where taken with a wide angle lens in order to capture as much of the buildings as possible, and the photos have been reduced down to 20% actual size and the originals are much clearer.
The buildings around this temple are full of hundreds of statues of Buddha and more, it is quite amazing and I have visited this temple many, many different times in my 3 different … (7 comments)

Why won't the Burmese Government allow Vegas Bob to post stories and pics of Myanmar (Burma)?
It's been very difficult for Bangkok Bob aka Vegas Bob to get a post with pics off at the Activerain Network because the Burmese Government doesn't allow Yahoo mail, Twitter, Facebook and other networks in their country.
I have been able to get a few posts off at some Internet Cafes but with no pics. At first I thought some of my Alien relatives had created a problem for me on my trip in South East Asia when trying to blog.

Unable to use the Internet at the Beaches of Myanmar has really put Bangkok Bob aka (Vegas Bob) out of the loop!
Nu Nu and I spent 4 days at the beaches in Myanmar to get out of the HEAT and when I arrived there I found out there was no Internet, (OUCH)!
As much blogging as I do it was real difficult for me and I kind of had withdrawals from no Internet Action! And the Hotel where we are staying back in Rangon Myanmar does not have Internet so I am at a Internet Cafe right now writing this … (12 comments)
