As your looking at the beauty and scenery at this park it looks like just another day at the park, right!
But as you look real close at the very top of the photo you can see a tripod and two people dresses in red, walking this way. Also if you look real close you can see a man squatting down with a box of some sort in front of him.

This has to be one of the strangest statues of Buddha that I have ever seen.
As I was walking around in Bagan waiting for a buggy ride to the next temple I came across this statue inside a small structure very close to the road.
As I looked inside the structure I saw was this Buddha statue, at first I didn't think nothing of it, but as I got closer I saw this strange looking head in the chest of the statue of Buddha.

I just thought I would throw out a sun photograph on this new and wonderful Saturday. Why is this Saturday so wonderful, well because it is. Do I need a reason? I don't believe so.

When I was visiting Inle Lake in May of 2008 some of my relatives from Myanmar (Burma) brought to this special place where clothing is hand made.
There is a city built right in the middle of the lake where approximately 1000 Burmese live. The homes and buildings are all built on stilts because of the different water levels created by the rainy season (monsoon).

This beautiful photograph of Inle lake was taken Spring of this year at the hotel we stayed at built right on the water. As you can see in the pic, the bridge, hotel, restaurant, etc, are all built on stilts for when the water level of the rises up and down.

Sometimes happiness comes in very strange ways.
These Burmese women had never seen an American in their life's and wanted to have a photograph taken with one, of course that was me. Please forgive me because I gained a some weight on my trip to South East Asia.

This photograph is only showing 6 different temples out of 7,000 that were built in Bagan Myanmar (Burma). Early (circa 850-1120), Middle (circa 1100 -1170) and Late (circa 1170-1300).
On vacation in Bagan I spent 5 days and 4 nights shooting approximately 500 different photographs. From sunsets, sunrises, pics of temples (inside and out), statues, etc, I still didn't have enough time to capture all of Bagan.

This photograph was taken last year at a very famous flower garden in Myanmar - Southeast Asia, very close to Mandalay. It is a very large park and there are thousands of flowers with water surrounding and walk-ways everywhere.

My brother-in-law sent me this email that I would like to share with the members of Active Rain and other groups with AR. I really like the information and numbers used in this article, and how we can make a change.
When I was in Myanmar (Burma) in May of 2008 I noticed plastic bags all over the country side, it was ugly. Even in Las Vegas when driving to Salt Lake City, California and or out of Las Vegas, I notice plastic bags all over that have blown around. It's ugly.

Here is a very nice photograph taken at Inle Lake-Myanmar. My wife and I stayed here for several days. The hotel is located right in the middle of the lake and you have everything from hot water, dinning, boating, and more.
Villagers from Inle Lake go to school, work, play, etc within the lake. There is no reason to go to shore, their homes, etc. is all there.
After coming back to America my brother-in-law mentioned to me about when people pass away at Inle Lake, where do they bury the bodies? He said when people pass away the … (3 comments)

This photograph was taken at Inlay Lake in Myanmar (Burma) in late April 2008 the night before the Cyclone hit the Delta and Yangon. The night I shot this photo me and my wife Nu Nu went out later that night and saw lightning and heard thunder from the Cyclone that was ripping through the southern part of Myanmar.
We had no idea as to what was going on with the storm or even know that there was a storm coming because we had no television and or radios. We found out the following morning about the Cyclone because we had … (3 comments)

At this time I have four web sites and I am working on a new one. I have three Real Estate web sites and one match-making site. Here is a must see sunrise pic that was taken at Inlay Lake Myanmar (Burma), the morning after the storm hit the country around two weeks ago.
It is very strange how Myanmar can have such a terrible storm in the evening and then that following morning create such a beautiful sunrise.
