A Slice of Heaven by Robert Swetz On our drive back from Homer to Anchorage my wife was sleeping because she had to work this morning, I captured a Slice of Heaven. There was quite a bit of traffic headed into Anchorage driving around Turn Again Arm but I had to turn around to take in the beauty and share this moment with you. Robert Swetz feeling blessed on going to the Philippines
Robert Vegas Bob Swetz has been asked by his wife 5-6 times now about traveling to the Philippines with her 2 sons, and I have never said yes.
But this morning after heavy thought and a good night sleep, Vegas Bob has decided that he will be going to the Philippines in June of 2017.
Vegas Bob already has a updated passport and will not even need a visa if I stay less than 21 days.

The conservatory at the Bellagio displays huge flower arrangements for four different seasons per year, Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall.

Good morning everybody and yes today is the number one shopping day of the year. Vegas Bob will not be in any shopping malls today because he doesn't like crowds.
On my drive to Las Vegas yesterday from California the sun was rising in Gilroy California, Garlic Capital of the World.

These animals are carefree and protected within the Mission Ranch for motel guests to few when they are taking a stroll around the grounds. The Bixby Creek Bridge located in Big Sur California is a very famous bridge that was build in 1932.
Residents of the Big Sur area were virtually cut off during winter due to the often impassable Old Coast Road that led 11 miles inland.
At its completion, the bridge was built under budget for $199,861 (equivalent to $3.5 million in 2015) and was the longest concrete arch span at 360 feet on the California State Highway System.

Robert Vegas Bob Swetz and his wife Lin had the chance to visit and stay at the Mission Ranch in Carmel which is owed by Clint Eastwood.
The photo above is just one of the many beautiful homes and buildings that have been converted into a motel, restaurant by Mr Eastwood many years ago when he purchased the property.
The Farm House above was built in 1850 and Vegas Bob will post many more photos of his recent stay at the Mission Ranch this week.

After eating lunch at Phil's Fish Market on Vegas Bob's three day weekend - Day One, Vegas Bob and his wife drove over to Capitola Beach 3 miles south of Santa Cruz California.
Vegas Bob really had fun taking photos of his wife in front of this huge painting on the wall by the bridge in Capitola.
And there was no way that Vegas Bob was going to pass up a photograph of this Volkswagen Beetle especially in the old surfing town of Capitola.

Vegas Bob's three day weekend - Day One
Robert Vegas Bob Swetz had a great three day weekend, actually it was a four day weekend but I am going to only share three days.
Saturday afternoon started with lunch at Phil's Fish Market & Eatery at Moss Landing north of Monterey. We arrived at 11:00am and if you get there any later 7 days per week you will be waiting approx 100 deep of hungry customers.
