soldotna: Beautiful Moose River in Sterling Alaska

Several weeks ago on our drive to Homer Alaska we passed over the bridge that crosses Moose River in Sterling Alaska. Sterling is approx 7 miles north of Soldotna.
I took another photo of Moose River 2 years ago when it was frozen and no leafs on the trees so it was quite bland.
We have crossed this bridge many times on our way from Anchorage to Homer but always pass it so quickly because the speed limit in 50 miles per hour.
Well on our way back to Anchorage at about 5:00am my wife was sleeping because she needed to work that day. … (16 comments)

Robert "Vegas Bob" Swetz arrived in beautiful Alaska several days ago, and wow how nice it is to be back.
I will be spending over one week in Anchorage, Soldotna, Homer, Palmer, Wasilla and other wonderfully beautiful places. I have been taking many new photographs and this is just one of them. It is very difficult for me to load large numbers of photos on the AR network so if you follow me at FaceBook you will see more.

Vegas Bob finally enjoys a day of sunshine in Alaska
Finally Vegas Bob aka Robert Swetz and his wife Lin spent the day together that was filled with sunshine and beauty.
Vegas Bob took many great photographs with his new camera around Palmer, Lake Lucile and some other lakes around Wasilla Alaska.
This photograph below is a mirror reflection of a chain of lakes only minutes north of Wasilla.

Studying for the Alaska State real estate exam by Robert Swetz
Robert 'Vegas Bob' Swetz once again is studying and has his nose in the book of the Alaska State Law portion for real estate. Robert was studying in spring of 2016 but was side tracked and unsure if he wanted to get licensed in another state to sell real estate.

Beautiful Log Home in Sterling Alaska by Robert Swetz
On my drive back to Anchorage from Homer Alaska Monday afternoon I came across this breath-taking log home in Sterling AK.
I have viewed hundreds of log homes through out my life and this one located in Serling Alaska only 10 - 15 miles north of Soldotna has to be one of the most impressive. I have seen bigger log homes but not ones that have as much character as this one that has carved Eagle Heads at the corners of the roof.
