Thank God it's finally Friday ...
Even though it's been a short week Vegas Bob's body is tired along with his brain.
So many thoughts have been racing into VB's brain like ... Should I retire, should I build a retirement home for 3 seasons in Alaska? Should I buy a small home in Georgia, Northern California, Utah or Minnesota for retirement.

Vegas Bob was on his way to the free concert on the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz that takes place every Friday from around the 1st week of June all the way into the last week of August.
Anyway the traffic was all backed up on hwy 17 headed into Santa Cruz from Silicon Valley so I took some back roads instead of sitting in traffic forever.

All the horror stories of people telling me how cold Alaska is and how much they would never live there puzzles me.
For 5 months starting in November to the end of May Vegas Bob stayed in Alaska and it wasn't all that bad. But living in the heat of Las Vegas for over 15 years it was kind of nice to mix up the weather. In fact I found the crisp cold quite refreshing ... ;o)

What are the chances of this happening? And we do live in such a small world!
Today I started a new job in Santa Clara, Silicon Valley in California, and what a great job it is!
In one week I had 3 calls from the Local Union 1621 in San Jose, I turned down 2 of the 3 because I really wanted to get on this project I started today. Some of the other glaziers mentioned that I am very lucky to have gotten on this job because they are a tight nit group, like a family.

Robert Vegas Bob Swetz purchased another laptop today.
I left all my laptops in Las Vegas and after trying to interact with my smart phones I just couldn't take it anymore. I have 3 laptops in Vegas and instead of driving back which is a 8 hour drive one way, I just went out and bought a $350 dollar HP.
Life will be so much easier for me now and trying to look at emails, post blogs, etc. from a smart phone is a pain in the butt.

Well time seems to be flying by and Vegas Bob will be headed to the new Apple Campus 2 project in Cupertino Silicon Valley California.
Vegas Bob is very excited about working at Apple but must refrain from taking any photographs. Sorry folks and if you want to view any photographs or want to see what the project looks like, you will might have to drive by the project or search the web.

Robert Vegas Bob Swetz just finished looking at multi-million dollar homes on Potter Creek Road on the bluffs overlooking the Turn Again Arm in Anchorage Alaska.
By looking at only the front side of this home and knowing how much the lot sold for I am going to guess this home after completion should be valued at just over 2 million dollars, give or take a few dollars.

After spending several months in Alaska Vegas Bob will finally be headed back to Las Vegas Nevada around the 2nd week of April.
There is some business that I have to take care in Las Vegas and then I will be headed back to Morgan Hill California.
Vegas Bob will be either landing a job at Apple Campus 2 or another project in Silicon Valley California.
