Robert Vegas Bob Swetz ISO Lake Properties Robert Swetz aka Vegas Bob is in search of a special lake property for future retirement along with other lake properties for investment and or family and friends. The Lake Properties that I am interested in need to be around areas with mountains, streams and snow. As a hardcore traveler of over 40 years, Robert "Vegas Bob" Swetz becomes bored very easily traveling to certain states and places.
Minnesota, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Wisconsin, North & South Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Washington State, Oregon, California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, just to name a few are states that Vegas Bob has traveled through "Day in and Day Out"
Robert Swetz has a loving wife and other family members in Alaska now.

Here are some great photographs that Robert Swetz took in 2014 while he was on vacation in Alaska.
Robert Swetz aka Vegas Bob has traveled all over the United States, from ... Wyoming, Colorado, Oregon, Montana, California, Utah, etc, and has never viewed a more beautiful place like Alaska.
Robert Swetz's first visit to Alaska was back in 2001, followed by approx 90 days in a 4 month period in 2014.
Robert Swetz aka Alaska Bob will be traveling once again in the middle of July 2015. Alaska Bob will be visiting with his new wife and fishing Halibut, and taking new photographs.

Enlightened by the Beauty of Alaska by Robert Vegas Bob Swetz 2015 On my first visit to Alaska in 2001, I spent 7 days driving from Anchorage to Seward, Homer and Wasilla which is approx 1500 miles. The memories of Alaska in 2001 lasted for many years after and at that time I was enlightened in Seward Alaska. When I was in Seward in 2001 I climbed a mountainside made of shale, approx 1000 feet. Open Fields of wild flowers in Wyoming by Robert Swetz 6-27-2011
As I drove 1700 plus miles from northern Minnesota to Las Vegas Nevada I couldn't help but notice all the Wide Open Space.
I have traveled this route many times through my life and what a beautiful country we Americans live in. And when ever I see endless fields of flowers, sage brush, trees and more I always remember so many words from many different people. Words like "we have a over population" ... "we have to many people in this country" ... "Blah-Blah-Blah!

wyoming: "Freaky Friday" Dinosaur sighted in Wyoming ...

Vegas Bob has come across some very strange things in his day, from ghosts to UFOs & Aliens. But when I first saw the silhouette of this Dinosaur I grabbed my camera as fast as I could.
From a distance I thought maybe it was a cow or a buffalo but is wasn't, just a Dino walking along the fence in Wyoming.

wyoming: "Gods Light" shining through ...

On our drive from the Midwest to Las Vegas Nevada I captured these clouds with rays of light shining through, it was a beautiful sight. And then as I turned my camera to the north, the cloud formations were totally different.
It's very interesting how just the turn of a camera can create such a different scene.

wyoming: Vegas Bob is in the State Wyoming driving back to Las Vegas Nevada

Vegas Bob has been on the road for around 4 days now driving from Minnesota to Las Vegas Nevada. VB's Brother and family are making the move to Vegas, and VB is very excited.
VB should be arriving in Vegas around Monday or Tuesday, and helping his brother unload a HUGE truck.
Then around the 4th of July VB will be headed for Roswell for the UFO Celebration and Parade. VB's posts at Activerain may be quite different then usual so please try and understand it's because VB is on the move.
