Come see and touch the animals at Fairfax County's up close and personal yet working farm. Kidwell Farm at Frying Pan Park celebrated its 50th anniversary last year. Come visit for an hour and re-connect with your rural roots or just relax with the animals. Bring your kids or just yourself. Our youngest kid is 20, but we still visit the farm regularly...it's free and fun. You may see me there with my camera at sunset...it is a great place to unwind...right in the middle of suburbia.
If you haven't been there in a while, hop in the car and buzz on over to Kidwell Farm at Frying Pan Park in Herndon VA today. The Fairfax County 4-H Fair and the Frying Pan Park Farm Show is today and tomorrow Aug. 4 and 5. Never been to the farm? That is soooo wrong....come on I will give you a preview from the last time I was over there.

Jimmy: What would you suggest I do in Old Town Herndon this afternoon since I get off work early. By the way my wife is coming with me: -we both like ale on tap -we need some custom draperies and some reupholstery work done -we want to sit down to a nice dinner with music. Also did I mention that we want to walk no more than one hundred feet to accomplish all this since did I mention that we like ale on tap?
