alabama: That Time Of The Year!

It is that time of year for the flu season to start up! Every year around this time I always get the flu. It always sneaks up on me because I plan on getting a flu shot, and then BAM it hits me. It usually lasts about 4 days, but when I did get flu shots I would always get sick so I don't guess it matters that it sneaks up on me. I am just now getting over it, after 2 shots, and 5 breathing treatments, and alot of rest, with plenty of gatorade. Now my husband has it, and … (1 comments)
alabama: No Smoking Ban In Alabama

There is alot of cities in Alabama that have passed the No Smoking Ban in Restauraunts and Bars. Today on the news I heard that they are trying to pass this law as a Statewide Law for Alabama in February 2008. Alot of people in Alabama are dying due to smoking more than having in other type of cancers. People are not happy with this law, and think that their rights have been taking away from them. alabama: Alabama...is hard to beat

Do you ever hear anyone say anything about Alabama? Most people think that Alabama is so bad, and that there is no point in looking at it. But most people don't know that Alabama is hard to beat because of reasonable cost of living, friendly people who like making strangers welcome, moderate climate with hardly any snow and ice, with beautiful surroundings. Alabama has alot of recreational facilities, alot of entertainment going on somewhere every weekend.
