chili challenge: Habitat for Humanity...volunteered my time at a Chili Challenge event.

This was my second year to volunteer to help at this event. I made 2 crockpots full of chili, and decorated my booth. The people really enjoy coming out to this event since it raises money for a good cause. I enjoy helping out my community, and meeting all the people that help. Here's some pictures that I took at the event. It was held February 23, 2008 at Goosepond Civic Center in Scottsboro, AL.
The event will be held at Scottsboro Goose Pond Civic Center on February 23rd from 11:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. Tell all your friends and family and be sure to come out and have a good time while supporting a good cause. Challengers will be competing for five awards: Judges Choice, Best Presentation, Most Populr, Professional and Student categories. I will be a challenger for this event. I am going to enter the Chili Challenge to help raise money for Habitat For Humanity in Scottsboro, AL. I was wondering if anybody has ever done this, and if so what kind did you do to promote yourself at the event? The event is going to be held at the Goosepond Civic Center on Saturday February 23, 2008 from 11-2. At the event they have a silent auction, singing, and of course vote for the best chili. Anybody have any good chili recipes? I would appreciate any ideas.
