After the 2011 Cotton Bowl, LSU and Texas A&M have recognized one another as heavy competitors. And now, with the shift of A&M to the SEC, there are talks of the two teams meeting for an annual thanksgiving showdown. This would not only spur SEC revenue and publicity, but it would also provide a smooth means for Texas A&M to assimilate and contribute to the SEC competitive environment.
